The winners previously had not come forward publicly to claim the prize.

The hype over January's record $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot has since died down, but the country is still waiting to meet some of the winners.

During that jackpot run from November 5, 2015, to January 13, 2016, the Iowa Lottery sold about $34.2 million in Powerball tickets.

The winners will hold a news conference at the Florida Lottery's headquarters in Tallahassee at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

John and Lisa Robinson of Munford, Tennessee, who bought their ticket at a Naifeh's Food Mart, chose to take a lump sum of $328m. If there is no jackpot victor, the money in the jackpot pool rolls over to the next POWERBALL drawing. "It wasn't just Powerball sales that pushed sales and proceeds so high; we also had strong Scratchers sales, due in part to the holiday games and promotion and more traffic in retail locations".

The Powerball victor from California has not yet come forward to claim the prize, said Melissa Villarin, a spokeswoman for the California Lottery.

During the past fiscal year, the lottery also added $8.7 million in state tax collections from prize winnings to the General Revenue Fund.
