On Tuesday, Spanish website OK Diario is claiming that Chelsea fans might be getting one of the biggest names on their list, claiming that current Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has already informed his current employer that he's Chelsea bound this summer.
Chelsea are not keen to keep the interim manager Guus Hiddink at the club over next season, as Roman Abramovich is looking for a long-term replacement for José Mourinho who was sacked in December.
Simeone has won almost two-thirds of the matches he has taken charge of at the Spanish club, and as well as winning La Liga he has also steered the side to glory in the Europa League, Copa del Rey, UEFA Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup.
Chelsea face Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday, while Atletico battle PSV next week.
Simeone has also been linked with a move to Manchester United as pressure mounts on Louis van Gaal's position at Old Trafford. Though the names Massimiliano Allegri and Antonio Conte have been named in the past, Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has now been rumoured to have accepted a deal to move to Stamford Bridge.
