Toyota Innova's latest next-gen vehicle, the Toyota Innova Crysta is all set to be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, New Delhi which will be held on February 5-9, 2016 in Pragati Maidan.
Taking a step towards the go green philosophy and as part of the Toyota India Eco Vision, Toyota debuted the all-new Prius in India today.
Toyota will offer the Innova Crysta in three variants, with seven airbags in the top of the line variant and three airbags as a standard feature across the line-up. The front gets a new chrome grille and wider headlamps housing projector units. The rear now looks much more sharper with the sickle shaped taillights and a roof mounted spoiler. With the help of this feature you can get any sort of assistance including directions to any destination, book a service, locate nearest dealer and more.
Starting at an MSRP of $25,995 before freight and delivery charges, the base 2016 Toyota Prius includes a infotainment system with 6.1-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control, an intelligent key, a rearview camera and 15-inch alloy wheels.
Moving on to the MPV's engine options, the new Toyota Innova is offered with a choice of 2 engines - a 2.0-litre VVT-i petrol and the new 2.4-litre GD diesel. We know the Crysta will be a fair bit more expensive than the current vehicle owing to the new equipment, interior, engine and quality levels, but Toyota is still trying hard to keep costs in check. This will be offered with a five-speed manual gearbox, but there will also be an Innova Crysta variant with a six-speed automatic gearbox. The present version which has a 2.5-litre D4D "KD" diesel motor is a good SUV; however, the next-gen model will overtake the existing one in every aspect.
