At least fans will be relieved to hear that Seamus Dever (detective Kevin Ryan) and Jon Huertas (Detective Javi Esposito) won't be disappearing without a trace any time soon.
There are rumors that Nathan Fillion has already closed a deal for season 9, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Castle season 8 airs Mondays at 10pm on ABC. The studios reportedly opted not to bring Katic back for budgetary reasons. The network is holding off on a decision until they've finished screening some pilots, a task now underway at ABC.
