Desert Trip has been organized by Goldenvoice and AEG Live, the groups behind Coachella, and is held at the same venue as the music festival, which saw LCD Soundsystem, Guns "N" Roses and Calvin Harris headline this year.

The five main acts: The Rolling Stones, Sir Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, The Who and Roger Waters, have all shared their mysterious teasers, ending with the word "October", on the social media site. The aforementioned music legends will assemble, Voltron-style, October the 7th-the 9th at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, for what's perhaps the greatest assemblage of rock "n" roll royalty we've ever seen.

Three-day GA passes run $399, reserved floor tickets will be available for $699, $999 and $1,599, reserved grandstand tickets are priced at $999 and $1,599 while standing pit passes run $1,599.

When details of the fest first leaked, we were curious how this combination of sets from stadium-filling rock icons would work as a multi-day festival.

He will belt out his classic Beatles hits. Added Roger Daltrey of the Who, "It's the greatest remains of our era".

Tickets for the October the 7th -Oct. the 9th event, which is officially billed as Desert Trip - though some have referred to it as "Oldchella" or "Agecoach", will go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. PT.
