Apparently, the Censor Board has passed Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer "Sultan" without a single cut (yes, you read that right!) and with a U/A Certificate.
Sultan, which released on July 6, grossed Rs. 36.64 crore on opening day, making it the film with the highest opening day gross of this year so far.
Comparing only Hindi films, Sultan has shattered the opening day record by a huge margin of 60% by surpassing previous record holder Fan that collected Rs 2.15 crore on its opening day. After the national holiday on Eid, 'Sultan' also got a partial holiday on the next day which paved the way for more collections.
We are expecting a huge rise in today's Sultan box office collection in the domestic and overseas market both.
Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "Finally".
As per the recent claim by the cyber experts, Salman Khan's most anticipated film of the year got leaked on darknet and but isn't available on torrent.
Unlike other heroines in Salman films, who are either there to laugh at his jokes or dance with him, Anushka has an equally important role as Salman's partner and plays it pretty damn well. Of course, acting skills and personal traits do not account for the crores at the box office.
Bollywood's "bhaijaan" Salman Khan, with his latest Eid release "Sultan", brought festivity to ticket counters on Wednesday. A fat collection will lead this movie towards the elite club of 500 Crores.
The collection of the Yash Raj Films production will undoubtedly be bigger on Thursday, Thadani addd. The movie has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra. With the positive reviews for the film as well as the superstar's popularity which pulls crowd in the theatre with the hope that the number will be more increase in the box office.
Intact, some trade experts even predict that the film could take an opening weekend to over Rs 100 crore. "This will surely be the biggest blockbuster of the year till date". "The advance booking has been tremendous though".
