WWE Royal Rumble Will Be In Philly

Ed was the lone Smark to Banks to win this match with Brett, Taylor and myself picking Jax to win.

The WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, Cesaro, 36, and Sheamus, 38, will defend their titles against Luke Gallows, 33, and Karl Anderson, 37, on the pre-show.

Part of me thinks that the victor will be someone that has not been announced and hopefully one of those unannounced names turns out to be former NXT champion Samoa Joe.

His work has also been rewarded with a run as United States Champion, but we all knew his days in the WWE were numbered as he embarks on a new album with his band, Fozzy. Brock Lesnar was the next to officially enter the match followed by a barrage of other stars. Rather, it was more of a psyche job among Goldberg, Lesnar and the Undertaker, saving their strength against 27 other protagonists hoping to cash in and possibly become WWE heavyweight champion in April. The match was scheduled after Bayley defeated Nia Jax in a number one contender match. Superstars from both the Raw and SmackDown brand will collide in the main event, a 30-man over-the-top-rope battle royal with the lone survivor going on to a main event of WrestleMania 33. And Rich Swann defends the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Neville. Neville also attacked T.J. Perkins after the match and said in the following WWE Raw episode that he was the King of the Cruiserweights. Since then, the intensity has been turned up and we have a title match between two of the best female wrestlers in the world. Of course, he's nearly one decade past his retirement as a full-time WWE star, so there would be little chance of him having a significant run in the 2017 Rumble.

The evening before the Royal Rumble, NXT Takeover event will be held. John Cena will be challenging for a record-tying 16th world title at the event.

AJ Styles debuted in the 2016 Royal Rumble and Sami Zayn eliminated Kevin Owens - but it was Triple H who won the match and the WWE Title.

Finally, John Cena will vie for his 13th WWE Championship when he takes on current champion AJ Styles. There won't be any chance of Owen's good buddy Chris Jericho interfering with the fight, as he'll be locked in a shark cage suspended above the ring.

WWE presents the Royal Rumble tonight, a show which is typically the third biggest WWE event of the year.

Can The Club just win a big match? I really like Chris Jericho in the match, but not enough to choose him and a Braun Strowman win may still be a year away. Baron Corbin was the first WWE SmackDown superstar added to match.

If the WWE was going to have him participate in the Rumble and also be inducted into the Hall of Fame, wouldn't it have been a much bigger surprise had Angle came out for the Rumble as a surprise and then been announced the next night for the Hall? What about The Miz, Dean Ambrose, Triple H, or Seth Rollins (after somehow being entered back into the match)?

He faced Anton Deryabin of Russian Federation, with it being a rematch from when Façade defeated him last May on a Wrestle City Asia match in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I believe that The Undertaker will win the 2017 Royal Rumble.
