California vs. OR - 2/22/17 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Last week UCLA and Arizona were ranked ahead of OR, even though the Ducks have beaten Arizona and tied the season series with the UCLA Bruins. Jason Gardner had 22 points in that game, while Loren Woods had 16 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. Jordan Bell tops in rebounds with 7.9 while Dylan Ennis leads in assists with 3.2 per game.

The Ducks took the lead for the first time when Boucher converted a backdoor layup off a feed from Pritchard with 1:47left. With just under a minute left in regulation, Brooks drilled a fading turnaround jumper that gave the Ducks a 64-63 lead.

OR heads into the game trailing Arizona by just one game in the conference standings. OR put up just 16 points in the first half, which is the worst mark of the Dana Altman era.

The No. 6 Oregon Ducks hit the road Wednesday night for a Pac-12 matchup with the California Golden Bears as Oregon looks to keep pace with the top of the conference.

Earlier, Cal appeared in control.

Bell dunked for OR, but Grant Mullins made a three-pointer to put the Bears up 20-7.

OR shot just 29.2 percent (7 of 24) from the field and missed all seven of its 3-point attempts in the first half, which ended with Cal holding a 30-16 lead.

Brooks missed his first five shots and finished the half with five points. Cal was 5-of-9 on 3-pointers as a team in the first 20 minutes.

The Cal defense contested shots, but the Ducks also missed wide-open attempts.

Gonzaga was No. 1 for the fourth consecutive week, but received one less first-place vote than last week.
