McDonald's Corporation (NYSE:MCD) is offering its Shamrock Shakes in five flavors now.
If you love Shamrock Shakes from McDonald's, wait until you hear this - the fast food giant is introducing four new versions of the drink.
Shamrock Shake: vanilla soft serve, mint syrup, whipped topping, but this year it may come with a sprinkle of granulated green sugar and a cherry. Really, the only redeeming aspect of the entire month is the fact that St. Patrick's Day is in March.
The shakes, which are available for a limited time, have already been rolled out to some restaurants starting Wednesday.
The iconic green, minty milkshake sold at McDonald's is getting some new looks. Those new variations are Shamrock syrup thrown into hot chocolate, mocha, and chocolate frappe drinks, because the audience demanded it, I guess. The Chocolate Shamrock Shake was particularly popular amongst the secret menu crowd. It is also topped with whipped cream, green sugar crystals, and chocolate syrup.
Below are some social media reaction on the inclusion of Shamrock Shakes in McDonald's regular menu. One way that McDonald's is preparing them is by adding chocolate upon request, in order to create a chocolate-mint hybrid.
