Toure's agent says City star would consider United switch

Yaya Toure's agent has claimed the midfielder could join Manchester City's rivals Manchester United.

Toure's contract expires at the end of the season and Manchester City are not going to offer him a new deal.

Asked if he would be interested in United, Seluk said: "Why not?"

Despite being a regular starter for Man City now, Guardiola has never been an admirer of Yaya Toure who, therefore, is going to leave his club at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old has arguably earned legendary status during his time with Manchester City, but Seluk, who was embroiled in a public spat with Guardiola last summer, is now in talks with other clubs.

"Mourinho is a very good manager and Toure played with Zlatan at Barcelona".

In my first press conference, I told the media I come to City to achieve, to make a story and to be a big part of this club.

"Some clubs have contacted me", added Seluk. "But we can not wait until the last minute". I don't speak about Yaya and China or MLS.

And agent Seluk told Sky Sports News HQ that there has been interest from clubs in England, Italy and Spain.

The former Ivory Coast global has been free to talk to prospective new clubs since January, but agent Dimitri Seluk revealed that they have only just begun negotiations with clubs in Italy and Spain.

"We waited until March 15 for what Manchester City will say but until now Manchester City don't say anything". After that, if Manchester City want, they can start negotiations. If they don't want then we will find another club. "Yaya must go to vacation already signed with another club". "But tomorrow, for example, if we heard with Chelsea, he will sign with Chelsea".
