The rain keeps our highs near 60 both days.
Sunshine returns Wednesday afternoon. Winds will be strong out of the south at 15 to 25 this afternoon. This does not now look to be a particularly strong system but should be enough to keep temperatures at least somewhat in check for Wednesday into the day Thursday.
As we move through our Wednesday night, expect partly cloudy skies as an area of low pressure pushes farther away from Hampton Roads. A cold front approaches from the west overnight Wednesday into early Thursday morning, bringing the chance for thunderstorms. Storms and widespread rain will be possible Sunday night. We dry back out on Friday through the weekend, but temperatures will be very warm with highs near 90. Skies will be partly cloudy. It remains mostly cloudy tonight and overnight lows are in the mid-50s. Warmer and Breezy. Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: SW 5-10 miles per hour.
It will feel like summer on Thursday, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low-80s.
