The previous record was held by Japan's animation film Your Name that was a smash hit there. Dangal's collection in China is more than that of India

There's no stopping SS Rajamouli's magnum opus "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" as it continues to break records with its unparallel run at the box-office.

According to a report, "The Conclusion" has become the first Hindi film to gross Rs 750 crore worldwide.

Aamir Khan: I don't think we should compare "Dangal" and "Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion" By Murtuza Iqbal Aamir Khan recently stated that he thinks that "Dangal" should not be compared to "Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion". They are not only eyeing China for their next sojourn but also tapping Japan and South Korean markets with dubbed versions in local languages.

But Baahubali 2 has left the records set by its first installment in the dust, not to mention those of other top earners like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dangal and PK.

The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer minted approximately Rs 63 crore gross in its fourth weekend and Rs 40 crore on the weekdays. Baahubali stands next to it, with collections of Rs 1530 crore. Increasing profits of Telugu films can be attributed to the large Telugu speaking population in the USA in the 35-40 age group.

The film, whose name has been translated to "Let's Wrestle, Dad", for Chinese audience was released in China on May 5. In fact, since Dangal hit screens in China the film has been literally unstoppable at the box office managing to surpass other big ticket releases that hit screens alongside it.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal was made on a budget of Rs 70 crore.

Apart from USA and China, other important markets for Indian films are Australia, Malaysia, South Africa, Dubai and UK. It went on to collect Rs. 810 crores and continuing in China. Paired with state-of-the-art VFX and a good story line, the release of the sequel had fans flocking to theatres in large numbers to have their question "Why Kattappa killed Baahubali" answered. However, producer Shobu Yarlagadda has said that the team is hoping to redress those issues and come up with a much smarter release for Baahubali 2 in China. Both the film created a storm at the box office.
