In fact, Dangal has managed to rake in a whopping Rs. 1247 cr with Rs. 545 cr coming in from the Chinese market, Rs. 22 cr from the Taiwan box office and Rs, 716 cr coming in from the rest of the world market.

Aamir Khan's biographical sports drama Dangal has achieved one more milestone at the Chinese box office.

Furthermore, Dangal is all set to unseat Japan s Your Name as the highest grossing non-Hollywood film ever in China, thanks to China's mounting interest in Hindi cinema and Amir's efficacious marketing campaign.

The movie, released in around 7,000 screens in China as Shuai Jiao Baba, which means Let's Wrestle, Dad.

Prasad Shetty, partner of Strategic Alliance, a Chinese firm promoting Indian films in China said, "We reached 120 million yuan today, on the fifth day".

The movie is taking box office in China by storm.

The film, which released in China last week, has been enjoying a great buzz in China. After the release of Dangal in China Aamir has 5.86 lakh followers on his microblogging website which overtake our Prime Minister. Then, there was another viewer who said, "The movie reeks of patriarchy and male chauvinism".
