MP Manoj Tiwari's house in the national capital was ransacked Sunday night.
Manoj also tweeted, "8-9 people have attacked my 159 North Avenue residence".
Tiwari, Delhi BJP unit president was not present in the house during the incident.
On the other hand, the police said that the incident, which occurred around 1.15 a.m., was following a vehicle accident in which one of Tiwari's staff-member was involved.
Manoj quoted, "Looks like a big conspiracy, that too with police involvement".
The actor-politician claimed the attack to be a conspiracy against him and added that the role of the police in this case is "doubtful". Tiwari's personal staff, who was injured in the incident, Abhinav Mishra told IANS: "I came out after hearing the cook's cry".
Tiwari's house was ransacked on the wee hours of Monday, a development that apparently stemmed out of road rage.
The suspects also live in North Avenue but the police clarified that none of them are related to any other MP. The driver of the wagon auto alleged that Tiwari's driver beat him up, and went inside the residence.
Addressing the reporters today morning, Manoj Tiwari said that he would contact the Home Ministry over the incident.
It is learnt that a group of men arrived at Mr. Tiwari's house in a auto in the early hours of Monday where they created ruckus, vandalised the house and misbehaved with the staff members. He was being beaten up by four to five men. As per the information I have got they were looking for me.
The incident has taken place less than a week after Tiwari led his party to a historic win in the civic body polls.
