Melissa McCarthy mocks Sean Spicer with motorized podium

SNL and McCarthy aren't alone when it comes to unique motorized pieces of furniture, though.

Melissa McCarthy drives Sean Spicer's podium through NY for "SNL" skit.

If the prospect of an entire video of Melissa-as-Spicey zooming around NYC on a motorized podium doesn't have you excited for this week's SNL, then nothing will.

McCarthy earned an Emmy nomination for each of her first four times hosting "Saturday Night Live" (2012, 2013, 2014, 2016).

The sheer number of weird incidents in United States politics lately could be overwhelming for iconic comedy TV show Saturday Night Live, which has been seen filming on the streets for its upcoming show.

Sean Spicer is riding around the streets of Manhattan on a podium.

Videos posted on Twitter show the actress rolling down the street with several cars following her Spicey prop.

McCarthy, who has played Spicer on "Saturday Night Live", is preparing to reprise her role as Spicer and has already released an ad teasing Spicer's return to the show, the Hill reported. McCarthy hosts "SNL" this weekend. "Do you have any interest in coming in and doing Spicer for us?'" McCarthy recalled on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in March.

Now, all that is left is to see just how spicy McCarthy gets on Saturday night.

This peek at the upcoming episode comes on the heels of a promo in which McCarthy was transformed into Spicer by a team of makeup artists, to a jaunty soundtrack of "I Feel Pretty". It looks like whatever Spicer bit she's working on might be the biggest and grandest yet-the flawless cap to a no-good, very bad week.

This is part of SNL's new plan of going live coast-to-coast, which started with Fallon's episode.
