Monaco have reached the Champions League semifinals after defeating Borussia Dortmund 6-3 on aggregate.
Barcelona had overcome a 4-0 first leg deficit against French club Paris Saint-Germain in the last-16 with a dramatic 6-1 win back on home soil.
The Ligue 1 leaders, the first team under the current Champions League format to reach the last four after going through two preliminary rounds, had the game nearly wrapped up through early goals by 18-year-old striker Kylian Mbappe and Colombian striker Radamel Falcao.
In a show of solidarity before they faced each other in the Champions League on Wednesday night, Monaco offered Borussia Dortmund a gift following last week's bus attack in Germany.
After just three minutes of the quarter-final second leg at Stade Louis II, Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Burki could only parry a powerful long-range drive from Benjamin Mendy.
BVB were narrowly beaten in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie - played less than 24 hours after a bomb attack on their team bus.
