Surveillance video of the incident shows the naked suspect holding a bucket as he enters the property.
Authorities in Florida are searching for a large swan sculpture they say was stolen by a naked man with a five-gallon bucket who was caught on camera pulling off the heist. That man was arrested in nearby Tampa, according to law enforcement.
Deputies say surveillance footage shows the man, identified by media reports as Ronald Thompson, attempting to break into Lakeland Cold Storage on Frontage Road South on May 19.
Investigators were confident that someone has seen the large missing swan statue.
Both Thompson and the truck were found in Hillsborough County but the swan is still missing. In a Facebook posting Thursday, Polk County Sheriff's officials said they know "it's got to be hard to hide one of these", adding, "Someone has seen it".
"We know who the man is and we have the truck back".
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the stolen swan is asked to contact the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 863-577-1600 or 863-298-6200.
