Law enforcement officials are searching for four inmates who escaped the Lincoln County Jail by crawling through the ventilation system Monday morning.

According to Fox News, Moody, Baker, and Goodnight are serving time for property crime charges.

Update (10:50 a.m.): Reports that the last escapee, Brian Allen Moody, 23, has been recaptured may be incorrect, according to Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office social media.

Lincoln County Sheriff Dougherty said in an interview with KOCO that Monday's escape was very similar to the escape of the three inmates last March.

He says that these men are "dangerous folks" and he doesn't believe they'll stick around the area. State troopers spotted a white truck in the area and gave chase, but the vehicle was abandoned and the occupants escaped on foot, authorities said.

Both Moody and Baker are from the southwest part of Lincoln County.

Sheriff Dougherty said in the interview with KOCO that he has met with contractors and "all three county commissioners" to come up with a plan to seal the opening.

Dougherty said he's been working to remedy the issue so that this situation doesn't repeat itself.

Four men are on the run after breaking out of Lincoln County Jail, located in Chandler.

Those with knowledge of the escapees' whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office at 405-258-1191.
