The first trailer for the show's upcoming spinoff, titled Raven's Home, was just released and it has That's So Raven fans bubbling with excitement.
The spinoff was officially announced last fall, and according to E!
The show reunites Raven with her best friend Chelsea (played by Anneliese van der Pol) who are now both divorced single mothers, and are living under the same roof with all of their children.
The series will focus on Raven's son Booker (Isaac Brown, Black-ish) - one of the three kids in the household including his twin sister Nia (Navia Robinson, Being Mary Jane) and Chelsea's son Levi (Jason Maybaum, Superstore) - as it turns out he's inherited his mother's knack for seeing the future. In fact, half the time, Raven Baxter's (Raven-Symone) psychic abilities were more trouble than they were worth. Even though fans didn't get too much of a look at Chelsea, it appears that she hasn't changed much either given that her son tells her to make good choices.
"I'm executive producer, and what I think will work is writing is how the cast gets along and how the camaraderie behind the set works".
Hopefully answers as to what happened between the two high-school sweethearts will be given once the show premieres on July 21st, after Descendants 2 on Disney Channel.
The original That's So Raven ran from 2003 to 2007 and has been recently racking in over one million viewers during its midnight re-runs.
