Joe Ingles made his intentions well known about his desire to stay with the Utah Jazz. "It's important for me, to know she's looked after when we're away for, say, 10 days".
"Hopefully, it all works out and it is a nice quick process and we can get back here as soon as possible".
Tony Jones over at The Salt Lake Tribune was the first to report the terms of the deal.
Ingles himself is coming off his best season as a professional with averages of 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.5 three-pointers across 24.0 minutes.
Ingles was a restricted free agent, meaning the Jazz could match any offer he received. He was fourth in the league in 3-point percentage, making 44 percent of his shots from beyond the arc.
Another Boomer, Matthew Dellavedova, signed a four-year $US38.4 million ($A49.9 million) deal with the Milwaukee Bucks last year.
With Ingles now potentially back in the fold for the Jazz, all eyes will be on All-Star Gordon Hayward.
