Killing Floor 2 Finally Coming to Xbox One and Xbox One X

The game will come out for the Xbox One on August 29, and it will be available for the Xbox One X upon the launch of that system. Xbox users will also get all previous content packs including Tropical Bash and The Decent. This includes a whole new outfit with five different color variants and a whole new weapon called the Freezethrower that comes with 8 different color variants.

As previously mentioned, the game will be ready for the Xbox One X this fall, with native 4K support, increased performance, higher resolution textures, shadow maps and fade out distance.

Killing Floor 2 originally launched for PlayStation 4 and PC at the end of past year, and it was a fantastic horde shooter that made a lot of improvements over the original game. However, Xbox One gamers will be able to gloat a little bit, because there will also be some content coming exclusively to that platform. It also includes two weapons: the HZ12 Shotgun and Centerfire Lever Action Rifle. Both versions will sell for $39.99 / ₤29.99 / €39.99. The bosses will require players (or teams) to defeat it, using different strategies, as each boss encounter is completely different. There will also be support for Mixer, Microsoft's next-gen streaming service, that offers viewers real-time influence and participation in live game streams. Players will send entrails, severed limbs, and blood flying as they wade through hordes of enemies. The people of Europe are now focused on self-preservation, the lucky few who survived having gone into hiding.
