Fan-favorite characters spent a good amount of time apart since the survivors were scattered across these groups, but it looks like Season 8 will start to bring them back together, as suggested by the reunion of Carol and Daryl.
The first picture from The Walking Dead season 8 has emerged online, and it shows Daryl and Carol reunited once more.
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, The Walking Dead reigns as television's most watched drama for Adults 18-49. After Season 7 ended on a cliffhanger, it seems fans can look forward to a year of team ups and reunions as the heroes battle some of their worst villains yet. You can check out the pic below, featuring Norman Reedus' Daryl and Melissa McBride's Carol.
Not sure if I personally would be down with that as I really struggles with certain elements of the last season. Even Aaron (Ross Marquand) merely giving Jerry (Cooper Andrews) an apple felt satisfying.
The reunion of these two characters follows the dramatic season seven finale, where Carol chose to join the battle against Negan's Saviors. (Season 8) is that times a million.
Season 8 will pick up from the war declared between Negan's The Saviors and Rick Grimes' Alexandria, plus Hilltop and the Kingdom.
Gimple said that the crossover storylines at the end of season 7 will continue when The Walking Dead returns to AMC later this year. Though it would be cool if the season began with just everybody giving each other apples.
