In the interview, posted Thursday, with New Yorker writer Ryan Lizza, Scaramucci called Priebus "a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac". Per Lizza, at no point did Scaramucci say that the conversation was off the record. "I've done nothing wrong on my financial disclosures, so they're going to have to go fuck themselves". "So I'm asking you as an American patriot to give me a sense of who leaked it". DOJ spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores said in a statement, "We have seen an astonishing increase in the number of leaks of classified national security information in recent months".
"Is it an assistant to the president?" he pressed. I laughed, not sure if he really believed that such a threat would convince a journalist to reveal a source. Scaramucci called into CNN and said he didn't know if his relationship with Priebus was "reparable". "Reince and I have been personal friends for six years", he said last Friday. I have three to four people I'll fire tomorrow. But put a sock in it: You're a child on a family trip who wants to stop at a gas station for a 20-ounce soda, and Dad's not going to because there's no time for more leaks or else we'll never get to the end at this rate.
By tagging Trump's chief of staff, Reince Priebus, in the tweet, Scaramucci seemed to imply Priebus was to blame for the leak. This quote then puts to lie Scaramucci's explanation that he tagged Priebus in the tweet to show it was a united front against the leakers. 'Oh, Bill Shine is coming in.
Priebus has previously sought to downplay suggestions that he was at odds with Scaramucci. It may get you news coverage but he will learn very quickly that you can get news coverage lots of ways.
Scaramucci also told me that, unlike other senior officials, he had no interest in media attention. Scaramucci suggested to Lizza that Bannon is trying to build a "brand" off the president. "I'm here to serve the country".
He followed this comment with a challenge to Priebus, imploring that if he "wants to explain that he's not a leaker, let him do that".
On leakers: Scaramucci thinks that they should be "f-cking kill [ed]" to help Trump get through is agenda.
Scaramucci responded to the interview, writing, "I made a mistake in trusting in a reporter".
On stories about his dodgy financial-disclosure forms: "They're trying to resist me, but it's not going to work".
After appearing to blame Priebus in a tweet late Wednesday for illegally leaking financial information about him and threatening to sic the Federal Bureau of Investigation on him, Scaramucci deleted it early Thursday.
The disclosure form was available to the public because Scaramucci had been nominated earlier this year for a job at the Export-Import Bank of the U.S., and the forms become public 30 days after they are filed.
"It's absolutely, completely and totally reprehensible", he said.
There are also some smaller investments that provide new insights about the telegenic talker, who stormed onto the scene last week, prompting the resignation of White House press secretary Sean Spicer and immediate signs of turmoil in the White House.
"As you know, from the Italian expression, the fish stinks from the head down". It damages the institution of the presidency and I don't like it.
Scaramucci told the Associated Press later on Tuesday that White House press aide Michael Short had resigned under pressure.
Sanders said during Thursday's press briefing: "If the president doesn't, then he'll make that decision". "If he gets to a place where that isn't the case, he'll let you know".
Scaramucci previously said he and Priebus are like brothers who "rough each other up once in a while".
