The Million Dollar Matchmaker told Entertainment Tonight that she's a good pal of the estranged pair, claiming they are still residing in the same house after announcing they would be legally separating. It's devastating and traumatic and I'm still shook even though I don't know them.
"I don't necessarily know that it's "Hollywood" that gets in the way", Bell said about the dangers of being part of a celebrity couple. The pair recently announced their separation after eight years of marriage.
She added: 'I want them to get back together. I think it's he's on his career path to make this trajectory to become really successful at what he does and timing is off, and that could be it.
When asked how she will handle this kind of situation, Kristen Bell said separation is about accepting the reality no matter how much it hurts. "So, I'm not fixin" them up. The actress said that when people go their separate ways in a relationship, there are times when a different set of choices have to be made and even when those choices make a person sad, it is about sometimes having to "make hard choices in life". "But that doesn't discount the lovely years they had together.' If I ever get divorced, I'm still going to be like, 'Wow, I loved being married to that man, '" she said.
She also hinted that it perhaps wasn't their decision to put the news of their split out there, meaning it could have all been a little premature. Instead, she admitted that marriage is really hard-especially when you shoot movies in faraway places without your significant other. You're away from your family for four months. However, she does think people should be a little more understanding of the fact this is what Faris and Pratt want. "So, I'm not fixing them up - I would just be the counsellor between them and go, 'What really is the issue here?' Because she's living in the house, so someone threw out the curveball". "I disagree with him on nearly everything, but I have intense respect for his critical thinking skills and the fact that we were raised differently", she added.
