Mumbai: Looks like Ajay Devgn has a flawless answer for all the reports that are doing the rounds regarding the self-censorship of intimate scenes in "Baadshaho" fearing backlash from Censor Board.
The Baadshaho trailer gives glimpses of the gold heist in action, peppered by colourful dialogues by Emraan Hashmi and Ajay Devgn. It is the backdrop of 1975 Emergency that has made us wonder why so many filmmakers are looking at this subject.
Milan Luthria backed him up. "No, both the films are in different genres so the audience will get a chance to watch two different films".
Last month, mid-day reported that the scene in question was being abbreviated in order to avoid a diktat from the Censor Board.
Earlier the makers of the film had released the teaser which saw some of the intimate scenes as well between Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz. It's aesthetically shot and is crucial to the film's plot. Baadshaho is releasing on September 1. "That film had a political approach and ours is action adventure", he said, reports PTI. Needless to say, like any other Milan Luthria film, this film is also an out and out action flick.
Summing the CBFC discussion Ajay said, "I have never faced any problems as a director-producer with the CBFC. They really love you and they know what they want from you, so I think their opinion should matter".
