Dancing With The Stars pro Peta Murgatroyd is offering some insight into the reported clashes between her husband Maskim Chmerkovskiy and his celeb partner Vanessa Lachey. But it is hard to deal with life, stresses, rehearsals and then show time and everything that goes along with that.
Last week, Chmerkovskiy made a decision to sit out an entire episode of "Dancing With the Stars", which meant that he did not compete with his partner.
Following the show reports started mounting that the DWTS partners had tension and weren't getting along well. Fellow pro dancer Lindsay Arnold spotted him at the studio last week and told People, "Maks is back". The fan-favorite couple earned a score of 23 out of 30 points for the jazz set, making them the third duo to be eliminated from the competition. Erin Andrews quickly dismissed the absence as a "personal issue".
A DWTS spokesperson confirmed Maks and Vanessa will dance together on Monday's show.
"Producers basically forced Maks to put his differences aside and just get along with Vanessa, but not before Maks and Nick had it out", a source close to production for DWTS revealed. "They both have big personalities and that's not always the best recipe for a good partnership". He will dance a contemporary routine with Peta Murgatroyd, Maks' wife, to "Falling Slowly" by Marketa Irglova & Glen Hansard.
He explained on social media that the reason why he skipped the Guilty Pleasures themed dance was 'a personal issue, ' but sources alleged that the man refused to practice with Lachey because she was acting like a massive diva.
"That's the beauty of the dance", said Lachey after the performance.
"Dancing with the Stars" season 25 finale should air in November.
Vanessa Lachey has opened up about the scary birth of her son Phoenix in December.
