The police have charged Honeypreet with fueling the violence following the conviction of Ram Rahim in two rape cases. There are also reports that Honeypreet has been changing her statements again and again.
"Honeypreet was not fully cooperating with the police in the investigation and was evasive in her replies".
Reports say Honeypreet has demanded coffee on several occasions but police have turned downed her plea.
Honeypreet Insan was sent to a six-day police remand by a Panchkula court last Wednesday. "The ED is trying to ascertain the identity of Punjab and Haryana based hawala dealers who played important role in laundering Dera's fund", sources said.
A war of words broke out on Thursday between the Chief Ministers of Punjab and Haryana following the arrest of Honeypreet Insan, the adopted daughter of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who has been jailed on two counts of rape.
A lookout notice had been issued earlier against Honeypreet.
Failing to elicit answers for the 300 questions prepared for Honeypreet, Panchkula police's special investigation team (SIT) is now seeking help from Haryana Police's crime branch, India Today reported.
Her name has been included in an FIR in which Dera functionaries Aditya Insan and Surinder Dhiman, among others, had been booked on the charge of sedition, inciting violence and arson.
Reacting strongly to Khattar's remarks, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh asked him to refrain from such fabrications to shield his own government's failure in the Dera Sacha Sauda case.
"The Punjab police had been giving regular inputs to their counterparts in Haryana even before the Panchkula court hearing in the Ram Rahim case", he said, adding that the Haryana government and its police had failed to take cognizance of the information or act on it.
