The Leica branded dual camera setup at the back is said to consist of 12MP and 20MP sensors with an f/1.6 aperture and OIS. Let us know in the comments. A prolific leaker had given us a glimpse of what the Mate 10 Pro would look like, come October 16th.
Huawei Mate 10 series will come in three variants: Mate 10 base variant, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Lite. The Mate 10 Pro in the leaked image flaunts a big display with nearly no bezels on the side. The smartphone is said to pack a 4,200mAh battery and is likely to run on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. The smartphone is said to come in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants priced at RMB 5,499 (approximately Rs 53,800), RMB 6,199 (approximately Rs 60,700), and RMB 6,899 (approximately Rs 67,500) respectively. The phone is also expected to be IP68 certified water and dust resistant. As expected, the fingerprint scanner is positioned on the back, as there's just not enough room on the front due to the thin bezels, while the technology allowing for in-display scanners is not quite ready yet. There was also a shot at Apple's iPhone unveilings courtesy of Chinese electronics leader #huawei, followed a boast that they have a "real AI phone" coming up later in the year. Even though Huawei is actively making sure it stays on top of the news for the days leading up to the big launch, leaks do not stop flowing in. It also claimed that its next Kirin chipset will put Apple and Samsung to shame. Huawei being telecommunications giant has introduced new features in the Kirin 970 such as the Cat 18 compatibility, which means it can reach download speeds up to 1.2GB per second. So the new AI features might only be the part of Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro.
