Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige Talks Easter Eggs, Phase Four, and Much More

Marvel Studios Head Kevin Feige On Where The MCU Goes After Phase Three

Kevin Feige Hints At Captain Marvel's Whereabouts During All The Other Marvel Movies

These are the #Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) from Disney and Marvel, and the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) from Warner Bros. and DC. However, this simple explanation can not be all that there is to left to learn about her whereabouts, because when Carol Danvers joins the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers 4, somehow I doubt that she will be 20-30 years older than she was in her 1990s-set solo film. But, really, it is all good stories.

In comments to Cinema Blend, Feige explained that at some point Marvel plans to release a timeline to clear everything up. But this wreaks havoc in the ages of the characters, especially Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who was 15 as of "Captain America: Civil War" which was released in 2016.

This isn't the first time that Marvel is going to release an official timeline, either. The Kree-Skrull War is also said to play a part in the film and the original Captain Marvel from the comics, Kree superhero Mar-Vell, is rumored to make an appearance.

When the untitled fourth Avengers movie bring Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to a close in 2019, you should prepare for some major changes team upcoming to your favorite superheroes. This is the time period when Homecoming takes place, but it doesn't square with the presumption that Avengers took place in the year of its release, 2012. As great as the shared universe is, situations like these continue to bring up debates over just how connected these movies should be (not to mention the Marvel TV programming which is ignore by the film side).

Chatting with Fandango, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige confirmed the possibility of just that. It'll probably be apart of ah, I don't know, apart of an in print that you can fold out and look at.

"I think there's a presumption, "Well if the movie came out in November 2017, it must take place in November 2017" - which is not the case", Feige said. The less connected they are to each other, the more wiggle room the movies have for creative freedom and to stand alone however, but since the MCU has thrived (in part) due to that continuity, it can't go back on it now.
