In celebration of the new mode, which will be made available tomorrow for current owners of the game, Ubisoft is also making the game free to play over the coming weekend, starting on Thursday and running till Sunday. Outside of the new content, a new patch will also be released to bring fixes to the main campaign mode.
While Ghost War is launching with plenty of features, Ubisoft is planning on expanding it in the months to come with new maps, new classes, and new modes.
Not only can you play the base game itself, but the newly added PvP modes are also available for you to experience in this free weekend.
Starting at 3 AM ET on October 10, Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be taken offline for said maintenance, when the new content will be patched in.
Wildlands will go free between 12-16 October on Windows PC Xbox One and PS4. It's worth noting that the game has been discounted by 50% which is a decent incentive to give this a try.
Pre-loads are now live if you fancy taking this for a spin and all progress will carry over if you decide to purchase Ghost Recon Wildlands. You can read our review of the game from here.
