Flipkart Billion Capture+ smartphone: Everything you want to know

Flipkart's Billion brand, which was announced in July this year, is gearing up to launch its first smartphone in the country. The smartphone will go on sale starting from November 15 and will be available in two color variants - Desert Gold and Mystic Black. The phone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, which is coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Some of the other features teased for the Flipkart's Billion Capture+ smartphone include a full-HD display, rounded edges, and presence of stock Android Nougat.

The Billion Capture+ phone comes in two variants.

The "Billion Capture+", in terms of specifications, comes with all the usual trappings you'll find on a budget phone.

Smartphone is one of the biggest categories for Flipkart, which is locked in a fierce battle with US-based Amazon for leadership in the booming Indian e-commerce market. Flipkart will be offering no-cost EMIs and discounts on debit and credit cards.

Here are the complete details on the upcoming Flipkart's Billion Capture+, with dual camera setup with FHD IPS LCD display. It has 64GB internal storage which can further be expanded via a microSD card up to 128GB. There also a fingerprint sensor on the back side of the phone. Flipkart claims the device gives "hours of battery with minutes of charging". For selfies, it comes with 8MP front camera. Billion launched products in the kitchen appliances category like mixers and grinders, cookware, irons and lifestyle products such as backpacks. The genesis of the brand was that Flipkart's research had shown a high level of dissatisfaction that existed among consumers despite a plethora of products being already present in the market. The Billion Capture+ is backed by a 3500mAh battery along with QuickCharge for fast charging. Few true dual camera phones offer this combination of flagship features. "We're sure this customer-centricity will delight Indian smartphone buyers", said Sachin Bansal, co-founder and executive chairman, Flipkart during the launch.

There is also a 3500 mAh battery, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and dual-SIM support in the smartphone. The page says that there are 130 service centres across 125 cities across India.
