Inside, the changes are quite extensive though the EcoSport does retain its all-black interior theme.

The new Ford Ecosport facelift features new engine & gearbox options, revised front styling, new wheels and a host of new tech on the inside. Interestingly, Ford India hasn't revised the prices and the cost of each variant remains exactly similar to the previous model, which is flawless considering the fact that the new EcoSport is a lot more feature-rich now making it great value for money. The biggest change being the addition of the new 8-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system.

The cabin also features new seat upholstery, audio controls mounted on the three-spoke steering wheel and automatic climate control. The Titanium variant also comes with a push button start-stop system with smart entry with a capacitive sensor, rear seat centre armrest with cup holders, and ford MyKey.

Talking about its specifications, it will be powered by 1.5 litre petrol and 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine. As for safety features, along with the standard features, the auto also comes with rear wiper and defogger, front foglamps, and rear parking sensors. These trim levels are spread across petrol and diesel engine options along with the manual and automatic transmissions.

The diesel sports the tried-and-tested 1.5 litre, four-cylinder engine that puts out 100 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque, mated to five-speed manual transmission with a fuel efficiency figure of 23 kmpl. The diesel EcoSport is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and returns a mileage of 23kpl.
