A number of remembrance day services are taking place on the coast this Sunday (November 12).

Although a silence is always held at 11am that day Remembrance services are usually held on the nearest Sunday.

There will them be a ceremony at the war memorial at 10.45am, followed by a parade back to the legion club at 11.15am.

At the conclusion of the ceremony the President of the Boulder RSL Sub-Branch invites everyone to enjoy refreshments at the Boulder Ex-Servicemen's Club.

The silence will be marked in other Chesterfield Borough Council buildings, including the Customer Service Centre in New Square, Chesterfield Market Hall, Visitor Information Centre in Rykneld Square, Queen's Park Sports Centre and the Healthy Living Centre in Staveley.

Reverend Louise Brown, who is vicar of All Saints Church, Dedworth and Reverend Rosie Webb, Rector of St Andrews in Clewer have combined forces to hold a joint open air Remembrance service on Saturday - Armistice Day itself - rather than on Sunday.

· Cobham War Memorial - 10am on Sunday, November 12.

The parade to Falkirk's Cenotaph in Camelon Road will leave the town hall at 9.30am with the service at 9.45am. A parade will start at 10.30am organised in partnership between the Royal British Legion and Gravesham Borough Council.

Following the service, a civic parade will head to the war memorial at Rose Hill for the wreath laying ceremony.

The service at Denny memorial garden in Davie's Row is at 10.45am and at 12.15pm in Polmont Cemetery.

The parade will then continue to St Michael's Church for a 3pm Remembrance service.

· Denton Parish War Memorial - 12.30pm to 1.30pm, Friday November 10.

Prayers and laying of wreaths at the memorial will be taking place from 10.50am- 11.30am.

NAPHILL: A Remembrance Service will be held on Sunday, November 12 at 2.45pm outside Naphill Village Hall.

CHESHAM BOIS: The war memorial on North Road will play host to a remembrance service from 11.45am.

BURNHAM: The remembrance parade will begin in Gore Road at 10.15am on Sunday and make its way to the war memorial at Burnham Park at 10.25am.
