Here's footage from the 2017 PBA World Series of Bowling in which he completes a 300 game easily and just a simple little fist pump to celebrate. That's a 10-point improvement from his 2015 World Series of Bowling debut, during which he averaged 190 points per game.

Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts was throwing strikes on Sunday.

He was bowling in the fourth and final round of qualifying for the PBA World Championship. "Maybe 10. Not very many". After Sunday night, Betts lifted that mark to a 205.60 average through 40 games in this year's tournament, earning him a 158th ranking out of 188 players, according to the PBA website.

"This is definitely the most important one", Betts told the broadcasters.

Last week, Betts was the victor of a Gold Glove as the best right fielder in the American League.

According to a spokesperson from the PBA, Betts is planning to rejoin the professional tour on February 4 so he can compete in the annual Houston based Chris Paul Celebrity Invitational.
