New 360-Degree Motorola Camera Mod Selling In Oz

Announced at an event held in Delhi, Motorola's latest phone features a dual camera setup and an octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor. The phone takes advantage of dual cameras to achieve an enhanced bokeh effect. The smartphone features a circular visor that protrudes slightly and this enclosure houses the dual camera setup. It comes with IP68 certification and is dust and water resistant. The smartphone is available in two colour options, Super Black and Sterling Blue. For protection, it fits Corning Gorilla Glass on top of the LTPS IPS panel.

When it comes to the display, there is a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p display.

It comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. The internal storage can also be expanded externally via a microSD card slot up to 2TB.

Motorola has added a sizable 3,000mAh battery into the Moto X4, which we hope should last a day on a single charge. The company claims that the smartphone can deliver six hours of power with 15 minutes of charging.

Moto X4 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Connectivity options are - Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio-jack, and Global Positioning System.

The camera combination included on the back of the Moto X4 is a rather interesting one with the primary camera offering a 12MP Dual Autofocus pixel sensor with F/2.0 aperture, and the secondary one has a wide-angle lens offering a 120-degree field of view, with F/2.2 aperture.

The mod can also capture 3D sound using 4 channel ambisonic capture for a spatial accurate experience during playback. Or if you're looking to spice up your selfies, try out the Face Filters feature, which lets you add a layer of animations to your photos or videos. The other features of the camera are Object Recognition and Barcode Recognition. There is a 16MP sensor on the front with an aperture of f/2.0 and a dedicated LED flash, which should make the X4 a good choice for selfie junkies.

Apart from some really cool features in the audio segment, the Moto X4 comes with Amazon Alexa integrated.

The Motorola dimple is absent on the Moto X4 - a move which might disappoint ardent X series fans. There are some more software tricks such as Quick Screenshot, with which you can take a screenshot by sliding three fingers on the screen. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart for purchase from midnight tonight at 11.59 PM.
