The sun will continue to try and break through the clouds on Sunday afternoon, and I believe will have a little more success than what we saw Saturday. Some of the rain will mix in with some snow early Monday mostly north of Pittsburgh. Sunshine is expected on Monday and we will continue to stay dry until the next round of rain showers arrives on Wednesday with some heavy rainfall. Below normal afternoon highs in the lower 60s across SE GA, upper 60s to low 70s in NE FL. This morning, we hit another record low temperature.
The cold front slowed to a crawl off to our northwest, but is now knocking on our doorsteps.
The rest of next week looks fairly uneventful weather-wise, both in terms of temperatures and storm chances. Sunny Friday with highs in the upper 60s to near 70. Under mostly clear skies our temperatures have bottomed out in the 30s to low 40s. High pressure settles in for Tuesday leading to fair skies.
Our next front is expected to move through Friday, bringing our temperatures back down to average. We will see increasing clouds through the day and some showers could come through late in the evening to the overnight hours.
