Rapper Eve is the New Co-Host of 'The Talk'

"We are thrilled to welcome Eve to the table as she brings a fun and fresh perspective to our already diverse panel", said Angelica McDaniel, Executive Vice President, Daytime Programs, CBS Entertainment.

Eve is stepping in for Aisha Tyler as the newest voice on CBS' "The Talk". However, in an effort to find a replacement for Tyler, the series saw stars like Shemar Moore, Chris O'Donnell, Eric Christian Olsen and Wilmer Valderrama fill in the host chair temporarily.

And Eve feels the same way about her new co-hosts. Her face plastered on screens, Eve then walked out to her 2001 collaboration with Gwen Stefani, "Let Me Blow Ya Mind", as confetti rained down on the stage.

"All of them told me that they believed in me, and I believe in them", she told People ahead of her last show in August.

"The Talk" has named rapper and actress Eve as a co-host to the CBS daytime talk show, Variety has learned. I started recording a few months ago.

"I will say this, I've been working in television a long time and I'm an avid TV watcher". "I'm kind of quiet on social media, so this is a fun way for me to be expressive and show people who I am right now". This opportunity came and it's something new, something exciting.

No topic is off limits for Eve, and she's both excited and nervous for her new role, though she's received advice from the cast, especially Underwood.

"The Talk's" panel has remained pretty stable during its eight-season run, though in its earlier days, the show had featured other co-hosts, including Marissa Jaret Winokur, Leah Remini, and Holly Robinson Peete.
