Veteran actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson, famous for his portrayal of Mr Bean in the sitcom of the same name, movies based on the character and also an animated series, is set to become a father for the third time at the age of 62. The Mr Bean actor, who has two adult children from his first marriage, is allegedly about to welcome his third child with his partner Louise Ford, 33.

He shares two children with ex-wife Sunetra Sastry - 24-year-old son Benjamin, and 22-year-old daughter Lily.

Ford had recently been spotted on a shopping trip in London looking heavily pregnant.

Rowan and Louise, who is three decades his junior, have been dating since 2014 after meeting on West End production Quartermaine's Terms in 2012.

Last month, Atkinson's daughter Lily, who works as a burlesque dancer, stopped using her father's surname and instead swapped to her mother's maiden name.

"Rowan and Louise are over the moon and can't wait for their new arrival", a friend said.

The couple split in 2013 and Miss Sastry later filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

Louise is well-known for her roles in The Windsors and Crashing on Channel 4. They met for the first time in late 1980s when Sunetra was working as a makeup artist with the BBC.

Atkinson, who attracted nearly 19 million viewers in his role as Mr Bean at its peak, has amassed a fortune of an estimated £70million.
