Trio escape Tennessee jail, one suspect added to TBI's Most Wanted List

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has announced that one of the state's most-wanted fugitives is now in custody. It said a family member helped coordinate his surrender.

Matt White escaped from the Macon County Jail Wednesday and was captured in Bowling Green, Kentucky around 6:15 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies said they followed up on several leads after the escape, but none have led to confirmed sightings of the three.

Ferguson faces criminal homicide and other charges in connection with the death of a man in 2016.

In the wake of his escape, Ferguson was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Top 10 Most Wanted List.

Sheriff Gammons said the inmates are to be considered unsafe but does not know if the men are armed. He should be considered armed and unsafe.

He may be with two other escapees in a stolen, white, 1990 Ford F-250, TN tag: 3B5-7V2.

Adams is accused of killing a man and leaving him in a MS ditch late a year ago. The remains of the victim, Brandon Fye, were found in a wooded area of Macon County.

According to a news release, Dylan Ferguson, Jeffrey Strong and Matt White escaped from the jail in Lafayette, Tennessee, about 2.5 hours west of Knoxville.
