After Calling Out 'Billboard,' Selena Gomez Made Her Instagram Private

Selena Gomez has made her Instagram account private after hinting she was upset. "That is so hurtful", she wrote overtop of the Billboard article, which was published on November 30, 2017. 'I know, I know, ' says Gomez, rolling her eyes, acknowledging that the stuffed animal doesn't quite blend with the trio of armchairs nestled in the inviting, marble-accented nook.

Moments after posting that message, she changed her Instagram account to private settings, and her followers received a message saying they'd have to request to follow her a second time. 'It was a gift, and at first I thought, "This is so ridiculous, I can't wait until I give it away to another person"'. Or invite them into my home.

She reportedly posted a now-deleted Instagram story where she appeared distraught over a recent Billboard profile.

No matter what the reasoning behind the deletion is, with so many followers, we think anything Gomez posts will be seen by plenty of people, even if her Instagram is private.

It was unclear what exactly about the article "hurt" the Wizards Of Waverly Place star and caused her to change her account, but Selena has been very vocal about her need to keep an arm's length from social media these days.

The reporter then noted that Gomez "hasn't let go of [the teddy bear] - yet". Ouch. Well, regardless of how the "Wolves" singer feels about her ex-boyfriend, it's safe to assume that The Weeknd just needs a little more time to heal from their recent split.

In 2016, Selena was crowned the most followed person on the site for the first time, after she garnered a whopping 103 million followers, and occupied eight of the top 10 most liked photo spots, including the number one position, which was a photo of the star drinking from a bottle of Coca-Cola with the lyrics to her song "Me & The Rhythm" written on it as part of an advertising campaign.

This is extremely shocking as Selena just recently made headlines for having some of the most liked photos of 2017, such as this famous snap of her with a Coke bottle.
