Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens in theaters on June 22, 2018.
Universal Pictures has released the official trailer teaser for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the sequel to the $1.6 billion grossing "rebootquel" Jurassic World. You'll see what I mean below.
The teaser starts with Chris Pratt (Owen Grady) running down a hillside screaming for Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), and actor Justice Smith to run as he flees not only an assortment of dinosaurs but also flying debris and flames from an explosion.
Earlier, for Thanksgiving weekend, producer-writer Colin Trevorrow shared a sweet clip of Pratt smiling at a raptor hatchling. But we do see Pratt's character on the run not only from dinosaurs, but also what looks to be an erupting volcano.
Little is known about the sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Jurassic World, but it's been promoted with the tagline "Life Finds a Way", a callback to a line of dialogue spoken by Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm in the original Jurassic Park.
Much of the plot of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is still under wraps, but we know the movie will include new cast members James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, and Rafe Spall. Plus, there will be new dinosaurs coming into play too.
