Google Home Max costs no less than $399, but there's an option to get the speaker on a 2-year plan for $39.99 monthly payments. Google has yet to launch a pair of products it announced in its October "Made by Google" event - Google Clips and Google Home Max.
The speaker is going to be available in "Charcoal" (which is a black shade) and "Chalk" (which is a lighter, gray shade), and the Best Buy listing says the Max, a power cable, and the dual orientation base are in the box.
In addition, Droid Life spotted a reference to a December 11 release date on the Google Store. Well, there's not much time until December 11, unless this is just a placeholder and we don't really know when Google Home Max will go on sale.
This YouTube Red 12-month trial promotion is only open to participants in the USA who purchase and activate a Google Home Max between December 11, 2017 and February 15, 2018.
This shouldn't be taken as a confirmation for a release date since Google hasn't officially announced anything yet. Google Home is solving that in the future with Routines, which will allow you to group multiple commands under a customized phrase. For now, it's looking very likely that the Home Max might become available on December 11.
It's hard to believe that Google's big hardware event was nearly two months ago, but time sure flies when you're waiting for a release date for the company's awesome Assistant-equipped home speaker.
You can't pre-order the Home Max or anything, and it's possible that Best Buy is just throwing up a listing with an expected date without actually knowing anything for certain. More importantly, the Home Max comes built in with Google Assistant, which allows users to make hands-free voice commands to control their other smart home devices, make quick Google searches and a lot more.
