Obviously, it has not been announced that The Game Awards 2017 will present an advance of Death Stranding, but many opinions consider that we will probably see some video with gameplay or, in the least of the cases, a new trailer. Like Keighley's previous announcements, his tweet is light on details, only revealing that Reedus will be at the show, but not confirming what many fans suspect: that Reedus, Kojima, and del Toro will be on hand to present new footage of Death Stranding.
The evidence is mounting that suggests something big related to Death Stranding will be revealed during The Game Awards show later this month.
That said, slowly we're being drip fed tiny bits of information about the game, and so we've collected everything we know so far about Hideo Kojima's next title.
While del Toro is most known for directing equally imaginative tales like Pan's Labyrinth, he's actually going to be in Death Stranding as a character through the use of motion capture. Since Reedus is the third one from the "Death Stranding" team confirmed to be appearing at The Game Awards 2017, fans couldn't help but speculate that the gameplay trailer for the mysterious game could be launched at the event. He needed it for the digital Avatar (and for blackmail, perhaps) and he then sent me the teaser you all saw. News are in, Kojima will not only be present but will present an award along with Guillermo del Toro and (supposedly) Norman Reedus. That's it- He send me toys and gifts every few weeks but NO clues. "I am dying to know", he said. "It's an action game - an open world game, with a lot of freedom. You won't want to miss it".
