Warriors' Kevin Durant Ejected After Arguing Foul Call Late

He didn't respond to Durant in this instance, but the two had been at it nearly all night.

Golden State Warriors superstar forward Kevin Durant said he must be "more poised" after getting ejected for the third time in the last 18 games during Monday night's 125-115 road victory over the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center. Both players were yelling at each other and had to be separated before being ejected.

Cousins has always been a magnet for technical fouls, but at that moment of the game both he and Durant should have been smarter about this.

"I thought he threw us out pretty quick to be honest", Durant said after the game. It was late in the game. Durant doesn't seem to have suddenly lost the ability to control his temper, though, because after the game he all but admitted that he's choosing to get feisty at ideal moments. Everytime I got ejected, I made sure it's late in the game.

The eight-time All-Star appears determined to change his ways, though. Cousins also took credit for another block earlier in the game that ultimately led to a technical foul on Draymond Green.

Durant, who scored 19 points but shot just 8-of-21 from the floor and 1-of-5 for long range, blamed himself for getting too emotional.
