Buffalo Bills corner Tre'Davious White is out of concussion protocol, but isn't happy with the punishment for the hit that put him there in the first place.
Gronkowski, frustrated after Tom Brady threw an interception in the fourth quarter, lost his cool and pounced on an unsuspecting White, who was on the ground after the play.
Gronkowski, a Buffalo-area native, received an unnecessary roughness penalty on the play and a one-game suspension from the National Football League that will force him to miss the Pats' Week 14 road game against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.
White was taken to the locker room with what later was described as a concussion.
Gronkowski received his suspension for hitting White after the play had been whistled dead. I mean, I got a son to raise.
"It's a joke. I don't know what to say on that", White said Thursday. "I probably could've bit my tongue off. All that. People don't think about that when they just react". "Bad headache. It is what it is".
Gronkowski's one-game ban is a result of the New England Patriots tight end's actions. "Dirty shot. So what does that make him?"
"His intentions were to hurt me", he added, via Heather Prusak of WGRZ.
