Steven N'Zonzi Reportedly Flies into London for Arsenal Transfer Talks

Sevilla let N'Zonzi fly to London amid claims €40m Arsenal move is close

N'Zonzi, 29, was a Premier League regular with the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City, making nearly 200 top flight appearances during his time in England.

However, that rumour has been quashed since N'Zonzi was in London visiting his son.

N'Zonzi left the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan at half-time during a UEFA Champions League group-stage clash against Liverpool in November, when his side were trailing 3-0.

The Daily Mail recently reported that new Everton manager Sam Allardyce wants to reunite with N'Zonzi in a £25million move, having worked together at Blackburn. Nevertheless, a move from Sevilla in January looks very likely.

Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi has given his biggest indication yet that he will leave his current club in January amid transfer speculation, after falling out with the club hierarchy and coach.

"My future is clearly outside of Sevilla, the only thing that disappoints me is the way in which this is finished", said N'Zonzi. The coach [Berizzo] pointed the finger at me. "I will not repeat it ... but his words affected me", N'Zonzi told France Football. Whether in 4-3-3, 3-5-2 or any other system, a player must adapt to what his coach demands, and I've always done it.

N'Zonzi then bemoans the departure of legendary sporting director Monchi: "I'm not here to decide whether I'm going or not, but to play".

Steven N'Zonzi's recent trip to London was for personal reasons and not to negotiate a move back to the Premier League, according to Sevilla chairman Jose Castro. "But what bothers me is the way this is happening, I never had a problem like this with any coach".
