According to Collider, Tim Miller is now developing a film starring one of the youngest X-Men - who, since her introduction as a teen in 1980, has gone on to become one of the team's most talented members and leaders. Further, in news that should intrigue fans, the project - which would still be in its early stages - has Deadpool's Tim Miller attached as a potential director.
Collider are reporting that another X-Men spin-off movie is in active development at 20th Century Fox. Even so, we're sure X-Men fans will be happy to know that Miller is clearly interested. Channing Tatum's long-gestating Gambit, meanwhile, seems on course to make its February 14th 2019 release date while Drew Goddard is also hard at work developing an X-Force film that will build off the Deadpool films.
This isn't the first time that Kitty Pryde will appear in a feature film. Collider reports that while there are no concrete details about the proposed film other than its existence, Fox is still very actively pursuing the project even as the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Deadpool and company get ready to join their Marvel siblings in the House of Mouse.
For those that need a bit of a refresher, Kitty Pryde is a mutant who possesses the ability to phase. Kitty herself grew into one of the most beloved mutants, coming into adulthood and eventually becoming a team leader of the mutants. Miller is continuing to fill up his own obligations since he is now producing a Sonic the Hedgehog feature and set to direct a new Terminator film as well.
Kitty Pryde was last seen played by Ellen Page in "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" and has up to now been a side-kick character in the "X-Men" movies and Marvel comics.
