"I just love that attitude, there's a vibrance here that makes me feel good".

"Accomplishments are never the important part, getting to make music and do what I love every day is really the reward, but I know how hard u guys go for me and I really appreciate anybody who's ever believed and supported me on this journey so far", she added, while thanking those who stood by her side.

Cabello announced on December 18, 2016, that she was leaving the band after the final stop of their Jingle Ball tour. The four remaining performers appeared on stage to sing their new single, "Angel", and suddenly a fifth woman appearing in silhouette was yanked off the stage.

"I think there's a healthy amount of space you need to give certain things", she said.

Amusing thing, though. As she worked on the album a year ago, buoyed by the success of her collaborations "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly and then "Havana" with Young Thug, the questions didn't seem important any more.

Although the group has since said that they didn't intend for the performance to target the former member, 20-year-old Cabello felt the sting.

"I was just curious and I wanted to learn and I saw all these people around me making music, writing songs and being so free.I just wanted to do that and it did not work", she said.

She told The NYT that she ultimately chose to go solo because Fifth Harmony wouldn't let her work on solo music while still being part of the group. "It became clear that it was not possible to do solo stuff and be in the group at the same time.if anyone wants to explore their individuality, it's not right for people to tell you no". The Healing. The Loving, but the Times story confirms it was changed so that Cabello could officially wash her hands of 5H drama. I was just like, 'What?

Camila will be released on January 12. Ed and Taylor I've known for awhile, they're my friends. Judging by "Havana" (featuring a chorus Cabello penned over sushi) and "Never Be the Same", Cabello's 10-track solo debut is going to be loaded with pop mastery. You make me happy.
