But when one inebriated woman did just that during Dion's Las Vegas show, the singer's reaction was compassionate. But you know what? I thought you just wanted to come closer to me.

Fans took to Twitter to wish her a speedy recovery.

Instead of having security immediately remove her from the vicinity, she shooed them away and engaged the woman in conversation, telling her: "You know what?"

"Let me tell you something: I'm glad you came up onstage tonight", Dion tells the fan in video from the evening. "But you know what, I'm glad you came closer to me, ' she added, barely getting the sentence out before the woman launches herself at the songstress".

Dion didn't have the woman yanked off the platform by security during the Friday night performance. 'Look at me. Look at me in the eyes.
