Popular TV show host Ellen DeGeneres show "Ellens Game of Games" has been renewed for a second season.

"Before we go to break, there's something else I want to talk about", she said in the opening of the video.

During the latest episode of The Ellen DeGeneres show on the 11th of January, Ellen revealed that her father had died. "Pretty wonderful", said the star, who later shared photos of her dad on social media. "He was 92 years old", she said.

Ellen then showed a picture of her father with her when she was a child, and explained he had lived a "good long life". Interestingly enough, Ellen revealed that her father was a "Christian Scientist" his whole life and never consumed even a little bit of medicine. And he was a kind man, a very accepting man. "There was not one bone of judgment in his body". We never had a vaccination.

DeGeneres ended the brief segment about her father by telling a touching story about their only family vacation.

Fast forward to present time, the comedian-cum-actress said that she now works on the Warner Brothers lot and is blessed with her own stage with her name on it. "So he was really proud of that". "I got a rainbow before he died", she added.

The host shared a touching childhood memory on Twitter and showed a rainbow shining over a poster of her the day he died. "Before he passed away, I got to talk to him, so I got to say goodbye to him, and I was leaving the building and I looked back and there was a rainbow over the Warner Bros. studio".
